PAE Group Philanthropy Department Manager

We are looking for a young, experienced business executive who now wants to devote time to “Doing Good”. The PAE Philanthropy “Do Good” Manager will be responsible for the department’s day-to-day operations, project development, and the management of the other team members. You will work directly with PAE’s Chairman and General Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily operations of PAE Philanthropy, including: managing the PAEp Team; NPO liaison; NPO verification; database development and management; planning and executing multi-company volunteer days; developing new NPO projects; etc.
  • Looking at local non-profit organizations and working out what works well and what could work better. For selected NPOs the job will include working with NPO management to improve their operations & management processes to make them more effective in their chosen communities and make them better able to achieve their non-profit goals.
  • Working with corporate CSR partners to support selected NPOs
  • Organizing, planing, and managing activities and organizational goals
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions with relevant PAE and Philanthropy team members

Requirements

  • BA, BSc, or MBA in international business, international/cross cultural management, or related fields
  • Understanding of non-profit/foundation management, or related fields is a plus
  • 3-7 years work experience in a for-profit sector with full P&L Responsibility
  • Understanding of China’s non-profit landscape and associated regulatory environment is a plus
  • Excellent project management experience and capable of working to deadlines
  • Excellent people and workload management skills
  • Deep understanding of budgeting, evaluation, and planning
  • Strong and diplomatic communication skills and a structured approach to work
  • Detail oriented and excited by challenges
  • Creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, a drive to succeed
  • Fluent Chinese and English, willingness and aptitude to learn
  • Open-minded, flexible, inspiring, positive, ambitious, credible, diligent & motivated personality

This full-time position requires a team player, with an outgoing personality and an understanding of cultural diversity. Chinese or Western applicants welcome, but note proficiency in both English and Chinese is required.
