Project Accountant, PAE Media
Introduction:
PAE Media creates brand-driven shows for prime-time Chinese television. Its customers are major Chinese and multinational Business to Consumer companies who are seeking new, subtle, yet extremely powerful marketing opportunities.
Job Description:
Regular full-time position. We’re looking for a mid-lvl senior person as our project accountant working on different client projects at the same time.
Compensation:
CNY 5,000 – 8,000
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the all accounting details related to the project by functioning as the primary financial contact to the project management team.
- Maintains all project accounting databases, records or other documents to ensure timely upkeep, security and control.
- Design various financial templates for the project.
- Coordinate with Media MD to monitor project budget.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Responsible for financial statement and report preparation, ensure timely and accurate reporting, compliance with appropriate accounting methods.
Requirements:
- BA or above degree in accounting
- 3-5 years working experience as accountant, preferable in media industry
- Knowledgeable in finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial project reports
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications
- Expertise in local financial and accounting regulations
- Precise, thorough, works well under pressure
- Good English and Chinese language skills
